Dr. Austine Emifoniye is a scholar of arts history and arts making, museologist, studio artist and arts in medicine fellow. His research interests include contemporary African arts, museum practice, and studio arts. He explores conversations in new museology, and its significance to African arts and contemporary museum practice. Austine is a multi-dimensional artist, whose themes explore social constructs, vernacular patterns and feminism. His art include many outdoor and indoor sculptures, metal reposes, digital sculpture, printmaking and digital arts in public spaces and private collections.
